It began with the realization that there was strong demand for trikes throughout the country. Yet there were very few trike kits available on the market. And fewer still that offered the rider great performance, combined with eye-catching appeal! In the spring of 2005, Danny Johnson of Elkhorn, Kentucky set out to change all that. Danny has owned and operated an auto body shop for years, where he continuously came up with innovative ideas, some of which were implemented by Ford Motor Company. When he entered the trike conversion industry a few years ago, he brought with him over 40 years experience in metal fabrication and fiberglass molding. Not to mention an aesthetic eye that took decades to develop. These life-long skills lead to distinct creativity and quality, reflected in the Danson Trike. One look at Danny's work will bring about an immediate appreciation for his talent! Danny Johnson didn't want to design and build just any trike. He wanted to make the best trike on the market. It took years of dedication and hard work to develop the patent-pending, dual shock, extended frame design that has made the Danson Trike what it is today.
The Danson Trike Conversion Kit is currently available for The Honda Silverwing, and the Suzuki Burgman 650. Finally satisfied with the design, other trike kits may soon follow.
