If you had told me that I would be riding a motorcycle to work, I would have told you “NO WAY.” My husband is a motorcycle enthusiast, but I must admit, I was not. He really wanted me to ride with him, (not a good idea for me) or on my own bike. I resisted mightily. He bought me a beautiful Blue Maurader for Christmas, I still resisted. I have a dear friend who rides a trike, so I made a bargain, I would try to ride if he put a trike kit on my bike. I really did not think he would but he REALLY wanted me to ride with him. He purchase an IT2 InstaTrike form The Goodguyspowersports.com. Now I had to keep my part of the bargain. I went to motorcycle safety training with my daughter Eva, for whom he also bought a motorcycle. The rest is history, I ride to work, weather permitting, and have had a good time learning the basics of the ride. It really helps on gas. I take a lot of kidding about the extra wheels, but I WILL NOT be riding without them. I LIKE THEM. So if you see me out and about, on the Granny Mobile, give me a little biker wave, I think the wave is cool. Ha!

My impressions of the IT2 kit for my ’95 Kawasaki Voyager are:
Quality – A+. Every piece was well done and very heavy duty. It all fit together like a dream. Every hole lined up, every bolt was just right. It was packed extremely well and delivery was painless.
Installation – If it were on a street bike like a Vulcan it would have been alot easier. 99% of my installation headaches was totally due to aftermarket items that were on my bike, and the nightmare that the rear fender removal is for a Voyager. I spent probably 12 hrs. installing it (again it should have taken 4, but all the stuff on the Voyager....).
Riding – The ride is super. Very stable and smooth. I did not have to adjust a thing. I followed the directions regarding starting slow with practice figure 8’s, etc. and that was crucial to get confidence and the feel of it. It becomes second nature in a few hours.
Overall, I would never have been able to safely handle a big touring bike as I am only 5’-8” and have a 28” inseam. But now I feel safe and stable because of the IT2 kit.

I love the insta-trike.
The customer service has been fantastic. From the moment I ordered the kit communication with the company has been great. I could not have asked for a better transaction and follow -up. Packaging is superb. All parts were heat sealed in plastic to prevent movement during shipping, so everything arrived factory fresh. The shipper called ahead to arrange a time we would be at home , assuring that we took delivery of the product personally . In addition, we were given an opportunity to inspect the product prior to the shipper leaving the premises. One cannot ask for better customer service than that !
Although I did not personally install the kit, my husband advises that it was a breeze to install. The directions were clear and concise and followed in an order that assured minimal adjustments during assembly. Once the product is installed it is possible to adjust the traction to an individual's personal
preference giving even the most novice rider safety and security to their custom specifications.

I must confess that although I have been riding ...I haven't taken the time to take a picture of the trike yet.
